Who We Are
Universities are complex institutions, made up of people from all different backgrounds and life experiences, who share in the common goal of education. Your education and time at the university will shape you, but it will also give you the tools to influence the world!
Multi-Ethnic InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is a group of students that seeks to reach Northwestern University, a place so ripe with potential, in all its diversity. We want to see students and faculty of every ethnicity, culture, and academic interest transformed by the gospel message. We pursue this vision by seeking to become a multi-ethnic community that meets together for Bible Study, prayer, and fellowship while reaching out with the message of Christ on campus. We also partner with the other InterVarsity chapters which carry the gospel to targeted niches on campus.
It was said by Dr. Charles Malik, former president of the United Nations General Assembly, "Change the university and you change the world." As Christians, we believe that Christ can use us to change and influence Northwestern University. If you are new to campus, we want to extend to you a welcome to this wonderful place of ideas and learning. We also want to invite you to join us in the exciting journey of becoming the people of God on campus together in a multi-ethnic community. Please take a look at our calendar and come check out what we are doing on campus.
